Yesterday was my 'graduation' of sort and my last day of school. Well technically the last official day was last Friday which ended with a leaver's mass and many people were crying but it hadn't really hit me that i was leaving yet haha.

On our official last day of school we played 4 pranks on our physics teacher, he is an amazing teacher and super fun but gosh he seem to get prank on every year by year 13s. First we filled 800 cups of water and blocked both of his doorways (there weren't enough cups to fill out the entire room but they were expensive so we kinda just put chairs, tables and books around the room to fill out the spaces haha). Then a bunch of us glad wrapped his car. He took it off after awhile. After morning tea we sorta t-ped his classroom (but not with toilet paper but with those 'warning tapes' that says "Warning High Voltage, testing in progress"). When we had to clean up we recycled those tape and put them all over his car (again). He quite enjoyed these pranks and was taking photos the entire time but yea we sorta went crazy that day but overall it was heaps of fun.

Monday was a day where all of us year 13 will meet up at the front gate and chant loudly into school and then run around the hallway screaming and banging on lockers. It was fun although quite tiring haha. A few of the girls brought old bras and hung them on the school court (we go to an old girls school so it wasn't completely scandalous), we also put duct tape across all the lockers and around entrances, we then proceeded to take all the chairs and tables out of the staff room and put them all around our school court. It was all great fun. 'Pranks' were kinda a traditions for our school during this time of year. In the evening was our last prize-giving and everyone who deserved an award got one. And one of my good friend got Dux which was not unexpected (we would of been shocked if she hadn't) and it was just an amazing night in general. During our supper lots of hugs and congratulations were given out. None of it really hit me until i had to leave and said goodbye to my friends, then the tears started to our out. It was sad to think I won't be going to school with these girls whom I have known really well for the last 5 years.

I don't think (for me at least) there was anyone who I disliked greatly, I mean I might not be friends with everyone and although there were people who annoyed me I'm still glad I have met them. It had been an amazing 5 years and the years seemed to have flown by so fast. I can not believe I'll be starting University next year it feels like a reality that I have to come to terms with, I'm both nervous and extremely excited.

Well now I need to study hard for my exams and once that is all over and done with I'll have really finish anything related to High School forever. But procrastination sure is a problem...

I sorta just realised I haven't updated this journal since November last year, horrible D:

But I'm just in such a hyper mood cos it is actually snowing here in Wellington! I mean my whole class/school acts like we have never seen snow before but really this is the first time since about 20 years ++ that there has been snow in Wellington. It started last night and cleared up slightly this morning but got worst during the afternoon. Well I guess since I live up on a hill there were actually 'snow' instead of just melting ice unlike at school. So many people got sent home early today and I hope this means there will not be school tomorrow.

It is suppose to be snowing until Wednesday so I wonder if it is all going to pile up or will it melt by then (since the weather is pretty unpredictable). I took some photos and I still can't believe how white everything looks from out the window.

Snow Snow SnowCollapse )

So this has been my pretty exciting day! :D

Don't you ever have the feeling where you have worked extremely hard for/on something and then when someone say how bad it is you suddenly feel self-conscious about it and/or start hating it?

I was so excited at the beginning of this year when I heard she was going to have a 'comeback' in Korea! Now I can watch her on my tv every weekend (yay for Music Core + Music Bank!). I love her concept and her makeup is so unique haha. She is so pretty and talented and just ♥

So um I found this on my laptop which I drew about gazillion years ago (just last year) for this ICT project. Actually now that I think about it, I drew it when I was bored and when the ICT project came up I just sorta incorporated this into it? I dunno?

The Curious Trio ~Collapse )

They aren't just floating randomly, there's suppose to be lots of wind/cloud effect as they are 'swept up by the storm' (yes lame pun totally intended...) which I included in my project. Originally Nino and Matsujun were suppose to be included as well but I ran out of paper space. OTL I might add them and colour this whole thing someday... possibly... when I'm not lazy busy.

I haven't updated since March D: I suck at keeping a normal journal let alone an online one. Opps?

But Today had been such a good day :D
We had a Civil Defense Competition which is basically all the secondary school who has a CD team come together to compete. We do a recon around fallen buildings and rescue people and all that jazz (which is awesome and fun btw XD). We had 2 training days throughout the last 2 months and then we train twice a week at school. I was the team leader this year so it was a lot of pressure but it was fun nonetheless.

Our school had won it for the last 5 years so that was a huge pressure when we know the judges will look at us really closely but my team was awesome. We were waiting really eagerly at the end of the day and when they announced the winners we were so HAPPY! haha WE WON!!! (well technically we tied with this other school whom we partnered up with the whole day so yea... we still won!). I felt so proud of my team and throughout the whole car ride back to school we were singing "We are the champion". We were so tempted to run around our school yelling "We won" but our teacher told us not to but some of us still went to some classes (where we know the teachers wouldn't mind) and kinda disrupt them. Fun times!

My team have this new skittles obsession/addiction. Two girls from my team bought it in the morning and so we had heaps before the competition, at morning tea and lunch. So we all agreed that the secret to our success were the skittles!

I'm really happy right now. Eeee XD

never mind the fact that I have a physics internal tomorrow which means more studying.. D;

I was going to write an entry when I got back from Malaysia 2 weeks ago. I have a lot of work to catch up with for school. Mostly my Graphics assignment (Designer Study). Urg I can not be bothered. I am now stuck at home for the weekend trying to finish this assignment (which is due on Monday) but instead I am here procrastinating on LJ. I see where my priorities lies.

Malaysia was really fun, the whole of my mum's side of the family came together and there's 28 of us altogether. It was a nice gathering and I met some of my cousins I have not seen (face to face) before. I was so happy that we finally have a family photo of everyone (excluding one cousin who could not be there because she was busy.)

There were my cousins from England who have awesome accents and didn't know a single word of Chinese. (My grandma insist on talking to them in fuchow even if they didn't understand her.) I thought them how to play Mahjong and Mamaji (Gambling!!!).

Then there's this whole family drama with one of my cousins. Basically she doesn't live with her parents anymore (well she's 20 + anyways) and nobody really 'miss her' as they said it. I did see her though at her boutique. It was kinda sad that things happened the way they did. I don't know the whole story but it wasn't that nice from what I heard anyway.

I visited my grandpa who is paralyze on his left side (since last year) and so he was always lying on his bed. So I'm usually the one (with my laptop) accompanying him in his room. I bought some dramas and started watching there. My grandma told me I could put it up as loud as I want since my grandpa likes the noise.

I met some of my really good friends (well family friend I had known since I was born). We watched Avatar in 3D which is awesome. Not to mention some of the scenes which were filmed in NZ haha. We caught up a bit and we all basically saw each other every single day that I was there.

I dyed my hair too. It's now a reddish-brown colour which is a really nice colour. I've never dyed my hair this kind of noticeable colour before.

Gosh this is not all of what happened but D; I miss Malaysia. I didn't want to come back. But there's only 3 weeks of school left before Term 1 holidays! I get to go to Christchurch and see one of my best friends (who is flying over with her family to see her sister) whom I have not seen in about 1 year ++. I cannot wait till April.

School is starting in a week's time but I'm leaving for Malaysia tomorrow (for a whole month!). I am stuck between feeling happy (that I am missing school) and worried (that I'll have tons of work to catch up on). Mum wants me to bring back some workbook so 'I won't fall behind'. How am I suppose to enjoy my 'holiday' while doing work. D:

Well actually I'll be leaving tomorrow evening and staying a night + day in Auckland. I'm excited because I'll be seeing all my family again + celebrating Chinese New Year all together haha.(Read: Money ♥)

I bet all of them are going to ask me the same thing.

"Do you have a boyfriend yet?"
"Have you lost weight yet?" / "Have you not lost any weight since the last time I saw you?"

They said the same thing last year when I visited them. I should feel offended and all but I'm too use to these kind of questions to actually be fazed by it. haha

Though one thing I am dreading is the fact that all of my cousins and friends have all grown taller and I am going to look like a shrimp compare to them. Oh woe is me and my height issue. D:

Well apart from all that, YES to an extended holiday!
